Rising Water

RISING WATER

"Sheehan delicately reveals an inner beauty, tenderness and loving nature. This makes us feel how lucky Sug has been to have had Camille for his wife, as well as how fortunate we are to have had Sheehan in our presence tonight."

The Last Days of Mickey and Jean

“Bev Sheehan embodies Jean perfectly... Whether charming a stranger or disarming Mickey, she brings forward the sometimes elusive personality of this character and leaves us wanting more of almost every moment she dominates. This actress is playing the ultimate actress, a woman in love with a man who will be everything he wants when it suits her own purposes and still serves his at the same time. She is complex and in a long confessional scene in the second half of the one-act show she manages to make her bad-girl secrets into some of the funniest and most charming bits of revelation.”

Miss Witherspoon

“Few in the state can show honest annoyance better than Sheehan. She can complain about life, lack of liberty and the futility of pursuing happiness without becoming overbearing, because she’s always funny. Sarcasm — and there’s plenty of it here — has rarely been as delightful to hear.

…in the end, it’s Sheehan’s show. The lady has had a stellar career as a voiceover artist for the last few decades. You’ve probably heard her in quite a few commercials without ever getting to view her face.

So now’s the time to see, as well as hear, Sheehan — not to mention admire her. This “Miss” is a hit.”

BETTY'S SUMMER VACATION

“The comic performance of the year comes from Bev Sheehan as Mrs. Siezmograff.  Her apotheosis comes in the second act, when she coaches two of the criminals how to get off in a mock-trial she conducts. She plays the prosecutor, a witness, and herself, jumping in and out of a chair, using three distinctly different voices, and doing it all without beginning to break a sweat.  It's a performance that must be seen to be believed.”
